Thoroughbred Owners of California (TOC) is offering a FREE “Conformation Clinic” at GGF on Saturday, September 9th. The informal workshop is intended to help participants develop an “eye” for a horse.

With the assistance of some expert horsemen, attendees will view a variety of horses and identify their conformation strengths and weaknesses. The workshop will take place in the stable area, so attendees are encouraged to wear suitable footwear.

Check in:

Located at the walk-in stable gate located in the Owner/ Trainer parking lot. There is additional overflow parking just across the street in Lot B.

Directions:

If you are not familiar with Golden Gate Fields, from 80/580 take the Gilman Ave exit and turn towards the bay. When you reach the water, turn right. The Owner/Trainer parking lot will be on your right BEFORE the hill and overflow parking in Lot B on your left by the water. Proceed through the Owner/Trainer lot following signs for “Horsemen’s Entrance” where you will find TOC staff for check in.
