CARF (California Authority of Racing Fairs) has informed the CHRB that it is seeking to run a 7-week 2021 Fair race meet from June 18 through August 1 at the Alameda County Fairgrounds. We understand this meet will comprise the race weeks awarded to both Pleasanton and Sacramento by the CHRB.

Any owner attending live racing will need to provide a negative Covid test dated within 72 hours of entry. This test will be valid for 30 days and allows for multiple entries.
Beginning April 2, Santa Anita will re-open to the public at a limited capacity in accordance with guidelines issued by state and county health officials.
