Sharla Rae won the $75,000 Guaranteed “Pike Place Dancer” at Golden Gate Fields today for owner W.C. Racing. The two-year-old daughter of Afleet Alex and the Gold Fever mare Jinny’s Gold was ridden by Kyle Frey and trained by Leandro Mora. The one-mile race went in 1:38.07.
The lone stakes-winner in the Pike Place Dancer field, Sharla Rae was coming off a neck victory in the 6 1/2-furlong Barretts Debutante at Los Alamitos on Sept. 13.
